Henry Vinson is a certified commercial pilot and flight instructor with airplane single-engine, airplane multi-engine, airplane instrument, rotorcraft, certified flight instructor airplane, certified flight instructor rotorcraft ratings. He has an impressive 30 years of aviation experience with over 10,000 flight hours in fixed wing aircraft and helicopters.

From 1984 to 1986, Henry Vinson studied  at Bolivar School of Aviation. Upon his certification, Henry worked as pilot for Air West Virginia until 1997.

As a pilot Henry has grown to appreciate a multitude of aspects. Apart from the obvious perk of traveling, Vinson has found the entire experience to be something of true value. Take for one, the view. Being over 1,000 feet in the air has granted Vinson exceptional, truly captivating views. Throughout his career, Henry has met some remarkable people, which has made each trip beyond rewarding. He thoroughly appreciates all that he’s learned from his aviation career, and look forward to more adventures.

Henry Vinson is a member of the American Communications Association (ACA), Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), Airplane Owner and Pilot Association (AOPA), American Marketing Association (AMA), Public Relations Society of America, and National Gay Pilots Association (NGPA).

Career

Henry Vinson’s passion for aviation dates back to his college years and has followed him throughout his life as a hobby and side interest. His professional career, however, has spanned a wide breadth of fields and interests and allowed him to develop a considerable portfolio of skills. He first began his professional career as a mortuary professional, having graduated with an Associate’s Degree from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1982. He later took additional courses to become certified as a Medicolegal Death Investigator and worked as a professional investigator in the Cincinnati area. Henry Vinson remained in the business for several years, and at one point shifted his focus to funeral home management.

 

Later in his career, however, Vinson decided that it was time for a career change. In 2005, Henry enrolled in a master’s program at West Virginia University, where he studied Marketing, Communications, and Journalism. Upon his graduation in 2007, Henry Vinson began working as the lead consultant for his independently-run marketing firm, Henry Vinson Marketing. In this role, Henry conceptualized and implemented marketing strategies for clients across the northeastern United States.

 

Today, Henry Vinson continues to work as a marketing professional. However, he plans to reframe his professional interests to center on legal matters. Holding a degree from William Howard Taft University, Henry is a newly-minted lawyer and intends to leverage his considerable communication skills to benefit his clients.
